Rapid refresh – WRF

Rapid Refresh – WRF is a system that runs the WRF model 8 times per day, for the next 24 hours, at a grid-point resolution of 3.3 km. It is developed inside the “Romania-Republic of Serbia IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme” project and the purpose is obtaining a very high performance in forecasting convective and non-convective phenomena, from which a risk of flooding might emerge.

The system have a simulation area (domain) that includes Romania and surrounding areas.             Rapid Refresh – WRF is a system that runs the WRF model 8 times per day, for the future 24 hours, at a grid-point resolution of 3.3 km.
